This policy explains what we collect when you request a quote, book a move or sign in to your account, how we use it, and how you can ask us to change or delete it.
Contact details (name, phone, email), move details (addresses, dates, inventory, access notes, photos or room scans you upload), documents you sign, payment records processed by our payment provider, and basic technical data such as device type and pages viewed.
To prepare your estimate, schedule and run your move, produce and store your paperwork, take payment, provide support, send service messages about your move, and improve our pricing and service quality.
By giving us your phone number or email you agree to receive service messages about your quote or move by call, text and email. Marketing messages are optional and you can opt out at any time by replying STOP to a text or using the unsubscribe link in an email.
Service providers that help us operate — payment processing, email and text delivery, cloud hosting and, where a move is hauled by a partner carrier, the carrier assigned to your shipment. We do not sell your personal information.
Card details are entered directly with our payment processor and are never stored on our own systems. We keep only a record of the amount, date and status of each payment.
Move records, signed documents and payment records are kept as long as federal and state transportation and tax rules require, then deleted or anonymized.
Email moves@bestamericanmovers.com or call 888.700.4797 to see a copy of your data, correct it, opt out of marketing messages, or ask us to delete information we are not legally required to keep.
We use cookies and similar technology to keep you signed in, remember your quote in progress and measure how the site is used. You can block cookies in your browser, though parts of the quote flow and customer account may stop working.
