Miramar, FL · Broward County
Miramar Movers
Miramar's residential growth has been concentrated in newer developments west of I-75, many built as gated single-family communities with wider lots than older Broward cities. Miramar Parkway and Pembroke Road cut through a mix of townhomes, larger single-family homes and some newer apartment complexes near the Town Center. Because much of the housing stock is relatively recent, driveway and garage access tend to be more predictable than in older parts of the county, though gate registration is a common requirement across the community developments here. Miramar also borders Palm Beach County commuters and Miami-Dade lines, which puts it on several of our regular regional routes.

Newer Gated Developments
Communities along Miramar Parkway and near the Colony West area often require moving trucks to register at the gate in advance, and some post specific hours for move-in and move-out activity. This is a standard pattern for planned developments in western Broward rather than a rule unique to any one neighborhood. We handle that registration as part of booking.
Larger Homes and Driveway Access
Because much of Miramar was built more recently, driveways and garages tend to accommodate moving trucks more easily than in older Broward neighborhoods. That said, three- and four-car garages here often hold more stored volume than owners expect, so crew size is set from the actual inventory rather than the home's listed square footage.
Packing and Materials for New Construction
Newer Miramar homes often have larger kitchens and walk-in closets that hold more than older layouts, which changes packing time even when the home isn't objectively bigger. We price packing materials and labor separately in the online quote so you can see exactly what's driving the total.
Regional and Interstate Routes
Miramar's location near I-75 makes it a convenient staging point for both interstate departures and in-state runs toward Orlando or Tampa. Whether your move is a full household heading to Georgia or a partial load consolidating with other Broward pickups, the routing works the same way from here as it does from Pembroke Pines or Davie.
